The awards are judged on excellence in design and manufacture, innovative features, ergonomic design, functionality, aesthetics, durability, versatility, safety features, commercial viability and environmental sensitivity.

Judging Eligibility

  1. The entrants must be an exhibitor at Form & Function 2008.
  2. The product must have its Australian release at the show or six months prior to the show.
  3. The product must be in full commercial production by the 10th April 2008, and be available for delivery 3 months after the show; therefore the product may not be a prototype.
  4. Companies are limited to one entry per product category.
  5. The product must be displayed on your stand at form & function 2008.
  6. All entrants must provide one 300+ dpi image (JPEG or TIF file) of the product.
  7. Entrants must complete all parts to the official entry form by the 10th March 2008.

 

Grand Prize

All entries to the Form & Function, designEX new product design awards, along with the winners of the Stand Design Awards will be eligible for a single opportunity to win 30m2 of complimentary floor space (valued at $14 355) at Form & Function 09 in Melbourne. The prize will be drawn and announced at the presentation ceremony on Thursday 10th April 2008.
